Are you a problem solver?

When problems come your way how do you react?

Do you try to fix things yourself. Do you seek the advice of your friends? Do you drown your sorrows in other things that bring you pleasure? Do you pray about it? Or do you do all of the above?

God is the source of living water. Seek Him first and foremost. Wisely wisdom from Christian friends and mentors isn’t bad, but it shouldn’t be your first line of defense. God should always be your first line and then if He commands you should seek the counsel of others. Too often you try to fix things yourself, but in the end you really have the tendency to just mess things up.

Be sure to align yourself with God. Let Him be your problem solver. Let Him be the comfort in Your storm. Stop trying to fix everything yourself.

Check your attitude!

Watch your attitude. How do you feel when someone gets a blessing that you’ve be asking for? How do you feel when someone gets a healing, but you are still waiting? How to you react when you seem to continually pray without an answer, but other’s seem to be getting the answers to their prayers?

Do not have a poor me attitude. Don’t start to question God’s faithfulness. Do not be jealous. Have a spirit of joy and thankfulness. Praise God for His faithfulness in that other person’s life. Let that answered prayer be a reminder of God’s faithfulness.

Don’t let unanswered prayers define who you are. Don’t let unanswered prayers limit your faith. Let it be a time of thankfulness for what God does in others. Focus on all the amazing things God has done for you. Let all things be a reminder that God does keep His promise not just in Biblical times, but always. Focus on His timing and not yours.

God's calling. Are you listening?

Your lack of faith can imprison God in your life and the calling that He has for you, which in turn has the possibility of impacting others. If you don’t do what God wants you to do you aren’t just being selfish, but you could also be hurting others in the process. Maybe someone is relying on something that you were supposed to tell them. Maybe someone needs you to pray for their healing. Maybe someone needed to hear your testimony to get saved.

God wants to use you to help others. You are called to be His hands and feet into the world. He is relying on you to do your part. Are you listening? Are you obeying God? Are you seeking Him? Are you tapping into the spirit of God to let Him lead you?

Follow Tedashii’s advice and say “I’ll go send me.” Let it be your motto in life.

Let God send you where He desires…maybe it’s just next door…maybe it’s to an outreach…or maybe it’s across the country or on the other side of the world. Regardless of where He sends you go. Don’t let your selfishness or fear get in God’s way. Trust in Him and His plans for you. Pray, listen and let Him use your whenever and wherever He has called you. Follow his plan whether it is in the simple everyday life or in a seemingly life altering way because it could all be life changing for you and maybe someone else. Trust and obey!
